Food was good, but a bit expensive. I got the mushroom sandwich which was tasty, but I left hungry. My friend got the shrimp salad. We shared feta fries. Fries were quite bland. Kind of weird they ask for a tip when they only bring the food and you’re responsible for filling your drink and getting your food.
It's difficult to find a Greek restaurant with excellent vegan options but hooray for Kala! I had the Plant-based Keftedes and some of my friend's Kolokythokeftedes and they were so satisfying!
We had a nice chat with who I believe was one of the co-owners about the vegan options. Here's hoping for additional options in the future! I suggested a vegan avgolemeno soup. 🤞

We were looking for a quick and close lunch place that offered gluten free options and KALA came up in the search. They’re a quick service Greek restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. They do not have gluten free items marked on the menu but those working are very knowledgeable and will guide you on which dishes are gluten free. I had read some conflicting reviews in the find me gluten free app about whether the fries are gluten free or not and wanted to clarify that they are not–they do not have a dedicated fryer. In addition to being gluten free, I’m also dairy free, which is more limiting. I ended up getting the chicken bowl with rice and substituted the dairy based sauce that came with it for the vegan garlic sauce (I verified that it was gluten free as well) and the regular feta for the vegan feta that they offer. The bowl was extremely delicious and the vegan garlic sauce was out of this world! The vegan feta was also very good. My partner ordered the steak bowl and also substituted the vegan garlic sauce and he really enjoyed it as well! We would definitely come here again–highly recommended!
What a great surprise, we were walking by and we decided to try Kala and I am so glad we did. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the place is super cute. We tried the chicken souvlaki, green fries and chicken skewers and they were all flavorful and delicious. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
Driven by several times and mad that I didn’t stop in sooner! Absolutely delicious food and friendly service! Tried the halloumi, the beet salad, and the fried zucchini fritter rice bowl. So much flavor in every dish! Can’t wait to go back and try more!
We have eaten at Kala several times over a few months and it is consistently excellent. The food is so fresh and delicious, service is friendly, and the space is clean and cute. Really love that you can order and pay from your table with the QR code. Also love that it's BYOB. It's my favorite place to eat in LP. Especially love the zucchini fritters, spanakopita, steak bowl, halloumi, shrimp bowl, Greek burger, loukamades, lol everything 🤩
